Your zones. Your recorded VO₂.

WatchVO2 is being built to add up time in a heart-rate zone you define and to show VO₂ max values already recorded in Apple Health.

ALL FEATURES ARE FREE. Use the app without an account. The free version will include only occasional, dismissible ads for other apps by the same developer. An optional subscription removes all ads and automatic signup reminders in all of our apps on your iPhone. No subscription is needed for app functionality.

What it does

A zone you define

You set the heart-rate band. The app does not prescribe one. Time is counted only after you save a band.

Careful minutes

Pauses are left out. A gap longer than 60 seconds is not filled in. The top of the band is not included. Overlapping workouts are not double-counted.

Recorded VO₂

See VO₂ max values Apple Health already has. Missing days stay missing. Averages use the samples that exist.

A widget that does not invent

The widget shows saved zone minutes when the week is covered, otherwise the latest recorded VO₂, otherwise no data.

WatchVO2 uses heart-rate and VO₂ records from Apple Health. You choose the zone. It is not a medical device.

Privacy in plain words

The zone bands you save are stored on your iPhone. Workout and VO₂ samples are read from Apple Health. Read the full privacy policy.

Availability

WatchVO2 is in development for iPhone and is not on the App Store yet. This page will link to the App Store only once the app is published.

Questions

Can I download WatchVO2 now?

Does it tell me my correct heart-rate zone?
